I personally use (as in Torino) Supremo chequer/Supremo cube with pruning
neural nets for both gnubg player and analysis. It's 2-ply (Snowie 3-ply)
with a large move filter ... good enough for me and reasonably fast (on a
decent PC).

The hard thing to do is to find a good setting for a rollout, since this is
a trade off between speed and accuracy that depends a lot on the position
you're rolling out.

P.S.
Note that Supremo cube is in fact world class, since the only differnce
between
world class and supremo is the size of the move filter (that do not affect
the
cube handling).
