The second option stops the rollouts of bad moves early. For instance
if you roll 4 moves and after the minimum trials you have something like :
move 1 worse by 0.6 jsd
move 2 best
move 3 worse by 1.8 jsd
move 4 worse by 5 jsd
Then the rollout of move 4 will stop at this stage while the other 3 will
continue. Maybe move 3 will be stopped a little later. On the other hand,
if the currently better moves worsen, the rollout of the
not-so-bad-anymore moves may resume.
3) Using stop-on-high-jsd doesn't work very well on take-drop
decisions as these are usually clear doubles.
Right. This is bug #5893. 2 and 1/2 years old :-(.
