[Bug-gnubg] GNU Backgammon on AMD64

Hello,

first of all I'd like to congratulate you on an awesome game! I *REALLY 
REALLY* enjoy(ed) playing gnubg.

But the problem is that I've recently switched from 32bit x86 to AMD64, and 
gnubg doesn't work on the latter. Is there any chance AMD64 architecture will 
be supported anytime in the foreseeable future?
