Hi all,
just to signal another problem that may be related to "strange" settings :
I've recently
updated to the last gnubg.exe, the one creatd to try solve the "dancing
problem" (problem
that I never had, anyway).
Aftet that, the board is no longer visible when starting gnubg : I have to
click on the
"Restore panels" menu to bring it back. From the attached images you can
see what happens
(see gb-pp-1.png, then gb-pp-2.png). Notice that once the board is back,
some space is
left to its right for the other panels that are all disabled : I suppose
the board should
take the whole space in this case (thing that happens if i enable one extra
panel and then
i disable it again).
Minor thing, the executables for gui and command-line version now have
"ugly" icons (as
shown in gb-ip.png).
On the other hand, it seems to me that the modifications intoduced to solve
the "dancing"
problem has produced a more responsive interface (the last annoying thing
IMO being the
pop-up menu that sometimes appears right-clicking on the board trying to
bear-off 2 men).
MaX.
