I browse the simplification, and it looks like an improvement to me. What
did this monitor structure provide after all?

I'm looking forward to see if this fixes the "Cannot move" bug. I've tried
different thing the weekend. Among the things I tried was to recreate the
bug at my Linux system with Peter's method. I was not able to recreate the
bug Linux bug I could recreate it at WinXP.

Since the bug probably comes of NextTurn() being called twice (or more), I
asked my self why it's called twice. I guessed it was called the first time
from the automatic move function and then it's called by picking up the
dice? I therefore tried to specify the position for the dice to pop up. The
dice position is selected at random, so I tried setting the appearing point
to a fixed value, and then roll the dice where I knew the dice would
appear. If I then rolled the dice where I knew the dice would appear I
thought it might create the crash. Unfortunately (?) I was wrong.

BTW: Has this bug been introduced somewhere, or has it just been there
forever?
