[Bug-gnubg] Feature Request (Minor): Change to Manual Set Dice Panel

I've been using the manual dice option a lot recently, and I find it quite
cumbersome.

The dice are drawn the same size as the board dice, so when the board is large,
so is the selection panel. I find it harder than it should be to hunt for and
select the right number. (Perhaps my brain can't work in two dimensions!)

My suggestion is that it may be easier to have only two rows, each containing
the number 1 to 6. I realise that you would then have to click twice to select
the roll, but I suspect it might be quicker than the current method.

 ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦
 ¦ 1 ¦ ¦ 2 ¦ ¦ 3 ¦ ¦ 4 ¦ ¦ 5 ¦ ¦ 6 ¦
 ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦

 ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦
 ¦ 1 ¦ ¦ 2 ¦ ¦ 3 ¦ ¦ 4 ¦ ¦ 5 ¦ ¦ 6 ¦
 ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦

An alternative would be to have only a single row of dice, with the first die
you click on appearing below, or simply highlighted with one of those bright
green boxes.

 ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦
 ¦ 1 ¦ ¦ 2 ¦ ¦ 3 ¦ ¦ 4 ¦ ¦ 5 ¦ ¦ 6 ¦
 ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦ ¦---¦

On reflection, I think I like this second option better.

It also might be an improvement to have the dice drawn at a fraction of the
size they are displayed on the main board, even on the current panel. How about
using the size of the Appearance panel?

I know that this is a minor issue, but if someone is willing to code it I would
be interested in comparing the usability.
