   I don't see why it matters, unless you want to merge SCOWL with a
   GPLed word list.

It matters since we want everything in miscfiles to be compatible with
the GNU GPL so that we can use it in GNU projects.

   This looks like a variant BSD anyway.

Depends on which one, there are many some are non-free software
licenses, some are not.  I only did a cursory reading of the text, if
Karl is not convinced then neither am I that it is incompatible, and
as Karl suggested licensing@ is the place.


I'll ask Kevin if he wants to contribute his word list to miscfiles.
