The help-gnu-utils mailing list would be the better place to ask for
help with "how to use" types of questions.

That page is a little unclear. It says:
If you would like any new feature to be included in future versions
of Diffutils, please send a request to <address@hidden>.
...
If you think you have found a bug in Diffutils, then please send as
complete a report as possible to <address@hidden>.
I don't think that is quite right. Certainly this list is for bug
reports. but help-gnu-utils isn't just for enhancement requests. I
will see about getting that text updated.
