I'm sorry, running diff --help gave a message that says to report any bugs
to this email. I downloaded this port of diff from sourcefourge <
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/diffutils.htm>, which I thought to
be GNU.
Anyway, diff --version gives this:

C:\Documents and Settings\ayoshitake>diff --version
diff (GNU diffutils) 2.8.7
Written by Paul Eggert, Mike Haertel, David Hayes,
Richard Stallman, and Len Tower.
