This would not help, given the way 'aclocal' works.

In the mpfr-2.3.2.tar.gz distribution I find no reference to gl_SIZE_MAX
nor to AC_COMPUTE_INT. Can you please provide a reproducible set of
instructions, that exhibits a problem?
