A tutorial for using gettext for a static website

Hi folks,

I decided to start translating my static website, and I couldn't find any
good docs for using gettext this purpose, so I did it and documented the
steps:

I don't know where to find communities of people interested in gettext, so
if you know any other list, forum, or site whose community might find that
