The problem with this is that I would have to do that for every
specialization of the generic rule,
ie.
post-get-foo: do-get-foo
post-get-bar: do-get-bar
post-get-oink: do-get-oink
...
so I lose the pattern-matching power that led me to use make for this
task in the first place.
