Hello,

I've been looking for a mailing list for gettext and couldn't find one, so
this is all I found to ask a question about gettext. So this is not about a
bug.
I've been searching the web for info on how to get libintl.so built and
nothing makes sense to me.
I've built gettext 0.17 (on tru64 unix) and was hoping it would build the
libintl.so that so many other packages depend on. What I find out is gettext
itself would make use of such library but won't build one itself.
It built libgnuintl.so but not libintl.so, so I'm back to square one.
Now I was thinking perhaps symlinking libintl.so to the built libgnuintl.so
would be a way to do this anyway, so I looked on the web if someone has done
that or info on if it would be ok to do this, but found no definitive
answers.
So how can I do this?
