Hi again,

I should definitively dig this problem before submitting it further.

There are some problems appearing when building the debian package
(Missing @MKINSTALLDIRS@ substitution) and some others when building the
sources from the tar:

config.status: creating po/Makefile.in
config.status: WARNING:  po/Makefile.in.in seems to ignore the
--datarootdir setting

I suggest to close this bug, I'll submit *eventually* a new one if I
find some explanation or at least some consistent behavior.
