No libXaw3d.so.6

I get this error. Can´t configure recognize this ?
And why is a package (libXaw3d.so.6) used that´s of 1996 and that can´t be 
compiled any more ?
Does X11 (XFree-4.5) not supports these things gettext uses out of 
libXaw3d.so.6 ?
O.K. I have to make it now with -k option.
It´s not a good thing to do that with a package on that so many other software 
depends on.
