We recently moved an application from Solaris to Red Hat Linux. A grep command that used to take about 5 minutes on a large file is now taking about 90 minutes. grep -E "BIND| RESULT" /opt/sysldap/tmp/LdapLogProces Is this slowness a known problem and is there a work around? Thanks
