"sdiff -s" is not working in (gnu diffutils 2.8.7)

Dear support,

I downloaded the cygwin, GNU bash, version
2.05b.0(1)-release-(i686-pc-cygwin)
sdiff appear to be sdiff (GNU diffutils) 2.8.7

I started the cygwin then run "sdiff -s file1 file2 > file3" 

file1 is list of names (about 5).
file2 is a longer list of names (about 50).
the result file3 did not suppress the common line.

I can run the sdiff -s file1 file2 > file3 in unix without problem.

Please advice.
