Bug report for sharutils

Hello --

I'm part of the Gentoo Linux development team.  Recently, a vulnerability
was discovered in sharutils by Shaun Colley.  In researching this
vulnerability, we discovered several others, one of which is documented on
our bug tracking system:

We are trying to track down the maintainer of this package to notify them
of the potential problems and hopefully release an updated version.  Your
email address was listed in the README file that accompanies the latest
version of the sharutils sources.
