this mailing list (bug-gnu-gettext) is dedicated to bug reports;
it's supposed that the report will describe a specific bug, which
can be fixed.

I guess your question can't be answered easily, and I'm afraid no member
of this list will volunteer to solve this problem with you.
Your question would be more appropriate to some of *-help mailing lists.

Of course, the best solution would be to find a local comuter guy which
could work on the problem directly with you, but I'm afraid that you write
here because no such person is available at your institution/neighbourhood.
