in ld command --version-script does not work with -r option

Hi,

 

ld command ignores the map file passed through –version-script option while creating an object file ( -r option ). I am not sure if this is a bug, but however this behavior is different from the behavior of ld supported by sun( which accepts the mapfile and creates a object file with the symbols exported based on the map file ).
