Dear Sir or Madam,
in the source tarball of grep-2.5, the German localized messages in po/de.po
are not coded in ISO-8859-1 (as claimed in line 13) but in UTF-8. This
leads to corrupted output, where German Umlauts are used.
This can easily be fixed by
cd po; mv de.po de.utf8; iconv -f UTF-8 de.utf8 > de.po
