Cannot compile gettext on Tru64

Hi,
  I'm desperately trying to get compiled any recent version of gettext.
For example, current cvs gives:

/bin/bash ./libtool --mode=compile cxx -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I.   
-I/software/@sys/usr/include -I/usr/local/include -I/usr/local/openssl/includde 
 -O2 -arch ev56 -c -o autosprintf.lo autosprintf.cc
