GNU gettext features now supported by Sun in Solaris

This isn't a bug report, but I thought you'd like to know that Sun
patch 113415-01, dated November 7, improved internationalization
support in Solaris 8 by adding support for GNU gettext.  GNU users
know that GNU gettext has been better than Solaris gettext for quite
some time, but it's nice to see some recognition of this by Sun.

Congratulations to the gettext maintainer for a job well done!

PS.  The bad news is that Sun apparently reimplemented a subset GNU
msgfmt from scratch rather than using GNU code; I don't know why they
did this.
