ed: failed to build on Solaris 8

The build log is attached.

Once I compiled getopt.o, getopt1.o and linked them in on the
'gcc -o ed' line, it worked okay.

Furthermore, the bug email address given in README is out of date, as
is the FSF address in COPYING.

I notice the last release of ed was in 1994 -- if this project is
unmaintained, I would be willing to take it on.
