ed 0.2 assumes commands are in /bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/bin/:.

ed 0.2's testsuite/mkscripts.sh sets its own complete $PATH instead of
appending to the inherited $PATH.  This renders it unable to find expr
in my case; expr is not in any of the directories ed knows about, but
it is in the initial $PATH.

Isn't it about time for a new ed release?  I remember a temp file
attack against 0.2 a good long while ago.  Is anyone maintaining ed?
