ermöglichte. Es gab hier im Verzeichnis der Winword.exe
noch eine winword.SRG Datei mit
Registrierungsinformationen. Diese Registrierungseinträge
wurden mit dem /u Schalter entfernt und damit die DOC/DOT
Endung aus der Registrierung entfernt.

It's a compatibility option that made Word 6, 95, 97 unregister the
.doc/.dot file types. As Word 2000 is configured via the Windows Installer,
the switch became useless.

I tried the option on Word 97, and it does _not_ unregister anything. I
haven't tested Word 6 or Word 95.
