Error in gdbm package (prefix doesn't work)

Hi there,

There appears to be a slight bug in the gdbm package, v, 1.8.0.  
Basically, I tried to set an install prefix (configure --prefix) to 
/opt/gdbm, and at least according to "make -n install", the package 
paid no attention (still is planning to install to /usr/local).  It 
seems that the "make prefix=/opt/gdbm install" will work, but it's 
kind of a pain.
