So what?  Unless you apply a patch to the exact same source
distribution it was made against, there can be failed hunks.  That's
life.  You're supposed to look at the reject-files (usually name
*.rej) and edit in those hunks in manually.  Or find out why your
sources aren't the same as those the patch was made for.
