This would be even better if it were fairly obvious what the reasons
for the various orderings were.  I'd go with something like this:

    foundation framing
    framing plumbing
    framing windows
    framing doors
    framing roof-trusses
    roof-trusses roofing

This also shows that there need not be a unique total ordering.
