thanks for advertising!  1.3.37 is now based on automake 1.5, autoconf
2.52, and gettext 0.11--the next step would be to make use of gettext's
new offerings (thanks to the eminent release, Bruno!):

    . use po/LINGUAS instead of ALL_LINGUAS in configure.ac
    . remove "intl/" from the distribution
