addr2line and nm -l seem to be broken for ELF object files.
I tested the i386-linux and mipsel-linux targets with
binutils 2.11.92.0.10.
gdb (5.0.90-cvs and 20011113 from cvs) displays correct line numbers,
so the debug info seems to be intact.
