I just unpacked binutils 2.11 and tried to build it on an AIX 4.3.2
machine. It fails thus:
xlC -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I. -D_GNU_SOURCE -DAIX_CORE_DUMPX_CORE -DAIX_CORE
-I. -I. -I./../include -I./../intl -I../intl -g -c rs6000-core.c -o
rs6000-core.o
"rs6000-core.c", line 441.15: 1506-022 (S) "c_impl" is not a member of "struct
core_dumpx".
gmake[4]: *** [rs6000-core.lo] Error 1
Looking at some of our dev machines, the c_impl field appears to have been
added in AIX 4.3.3.
