Plotutils-2.4.1 More Information for Bug Report

     Since submitting a Bug Report on May 24, 2001, about the Segmentation
Fault when running Make for file g_range.c, in the libplot directory of
plotutils-2.4.1, I have visited the Red Hat website.  I have found that this
bug, involving the installation of plotutils-2.4.1, was reported to them and
fixed in December 2000.  The bug is described as ” #17421  gcc SEGV while
compiling plotutils-2.4.1,” and possibly also as other bug problems, and the
bug fix is part of the gcc-2.96 update described at
http://www.redhat.com/support/errata/RHBA-2000-132.html
<http://www.redhat.com/support/errata/RHBA-2000-132.html> .  I downloaded
gcc-2.96-69.i386.rpm, gcc-c++-2.96-69.i386.rpm and cpp-2.96-69.i386.rpm.
After installing these errata, I was able to run Make and Install
plotutils-2.4.1.
