Help required for GNUzip

Hello,

  I have been facing a problem since last two days. Could u please help me out.

I have solaris release 5.7 and i want gunzip to be on my system.

So which version of GNUzip i should download.

I have downloaded 2.5 and 2.6 both but installation is aborted when i install 2.5. It says that checkinstall script did not complete successfully..

 

please help me and thanx in advance.
