I am having a hard time using gzip on files larger than 2 GB. Is this
possible? The error I get is: "Value too large for defined data type". Any
information would help.
OS level: Solaris 2.6
# gzip -V
gzip 1.2.4 (18 Aug 93)
Compilation options:
DIRENT UTIME STDC_HEADERS HAVE_UNISTD_H =
Compiled with: gcc-2.95.2-sol26-sparc-local
