I get the same behaviour with bc-1.05 on all our linux-boxes (rh-5.2,
rh-6.2). However on UnixWare 2.1.3 and on HP-UX 10.20 I get the
correct results. Seems to be a linux- (maybe lib(c?)-) specific problem.
