Under the GUI, if I put an accented character in the label of a variable eg "durée" (from the variable view panel), the accented character shows up as # in the output window after a FREQUENCIES command for instance.
Saving the file and opening again preserves the accented character in the variable label of the variable view panel. but not in a
same without the GUI,
If accented characters are present between quotes in a script
such as variable labels duree 'durée'.
