bug#52460: 28.0.90; on macOS Monterey, Version 12.0.1, --with-dumping=none leads to build failure for NS variant

Configuring for NS variant without dumping, because I want to use the NS 
variant and the X client off one installation, as

 Stop.


The same is *not* true for the X client, it builds.
