Could you please post the URL to that message,
whatever thread it might be in?

I see.  Apparently I didn't see or notice your
suggestion.

That's kinda outside the scope of this bug thread.
But yes, FWIW I agree: I think such an option
would make sense.

(Not that my opinion would make any difference.)

Probably `ls-lisp-dirs-first' should take precedence,
however, as someone might well want dirs-first only
on MS Windows (or more generally, when `ls-lisp.el'
is loaded).
