As per our discussion on IRC and the mailing list, I've created a testsuite 
framework and some tests.  Currently covered are:



my-id make-archive register-archive archive-setup import get commit undo redo 
what-changed tag



I'm going for breadth right now rather than depth, but it shouldn't be hard to 
make the tests more extensive.
