Mike, are you proposing this operates at a personal level ("I view Henry
spencer as an internet deity") or that my view should influence other views?
("Because ..., so should you").

The former is a *very* powerful mechanism for selecting material which
matches whatever criteria an interested user may have, the latter would be
difficult. Although, I'd like the ability to learn what opinions other users
may have so that I have the option of modifying my own selction criteria.
