[Bug-gne]What about a directory-based system?

Hi,

A friend of mine gave me an Idea for the back-end of the system. And I
want to tell it to you.

What about a directory based encyclopedia? The system would be just like
Yahoo! with Categories and Subcategories of articles. A search tool to
search all the information on the encyclopedia would be nice too.
The data would not be stored on a central server, and the system would be
very much easier to administrate.
