Just to be stubborn and pound my own idea again:

I feel (agree?) that we shouldn't have external links as primary
resources.  I think it would be appropriate to allow external links as
references in articles, so long as we clearly distinguish between internal
links and external links.  We could then make it clear that external links
are in no way cared-for or under the umbrella of the GNUPedia.

But, hey, even that may be a bit too liberal.  Dunno.  A thought, anyway.
