Oh inevitably articles will need pictures, and I would
guess an average of say 4 per article if we start off
with a lot of technical ones. But I can't see many
articles wanting 40+ pictures (where writing
<image</image> around each one would be a big hassle).
So I would say the image tags would work fine.
