[Bug-gnupedia]Submissions in Word Format

Good Evening, Everyone!
I've noticed that people continue to push back and forth on some key (and not so key) issues such as the case of GNE acceping (or not) Word formatted documents.

Since I assume that someone is maintaining some sort of project specification document can't we just put Word documents in the section regarding features for future consideration?

Ultimately, yes, I think that it would be nice if we could accept article submissions in any format. I'd like to have the ability to submit articles using the Orthogonal Scent Tablature of Metatarsal Prime but I'm willing to wait until that functionality is available.

Since text files are a well-known format for documents can't we just start with that? For you pro-Word people isn't it enough to say that we will make note of your suggestion and consider them for the next versions of GNE?

Thanks!

GNE could just accept Word documents and convert them into whatever format we wish to use and store them in that format.
