Agreed! Wheel reinvention -> bad. Making real progress -> good.
I know nothing of TEI, but know a good deal about DocBook, and it kind
of chagrins me to see so many suggestions of things that are _already_
in docbook - often with the same names!
Yes, I know DocBook has a seemingly endless variety of tags. So what?
90% of the time you only use about a dozen - the same dozen y'all are
listing out.
I imagine it's a similar case with TEI.
