I would say, ``maybe''. Ideally, yes, the author would use some XML
template we provide and put his article in this. However, it would be
pretty easy (I volunteer) to write a parser which gets most things
right just looking at the email. (I.e. author, date, titles,
subtitles, bold-face, underlining, etcetera).
Yes, such a thing would probably need cleaning up by hand, but at
least a valuable article didn't go missing by the author getting
scared over ``XML''.
