This could get abused. What if somebody who feels very
strongly against evolution theory votes to block it
even though they just disagree with it. I mean, it
would admittedly take a majority (or whatever
percentage) of people to vote something off, so
evolution theory is unlikely to go. But you would have
to be very careful about abusing the system. I also
think it is too close to the Nupedia idea of
editorship, and as we have the opportunity to be more
open I feel we should be as open as possible.

I think this is potentially a good idea, but the
"vote" should be displayed at the bottom of the
article, or probably not at all. An article claiming
that Edison was a fraud, or that Nixon should og to
Nuremburg for war crimes trials, would get a bad vote,
and people are less likely to look at an articl that
has a bad "score". It would marginalise a lot of
articles, and popularise the resource which is
something I feel we should be very very wary of.

Pretty much what I have been thinking too, and what
seems to have been decided between Hector, Jimmy and
Richard. Finally we might be able to get on with
making an open resource without calls for editorship
or a merger with Nupedia :)
