But if everyone here fairly represents out audience, then why not, 
the indexes/front ends would be free to disregard this information.

We need to provide this sort of classification for all articles, if this 
is stored with the articles or just incidently on a database in the 
same location is just a minor matter, except maybe becuase of the 
minor preformance hit we'd get if the data is stored seperately.
