Thats actually a very important idea - getting an FAQ.
  We need to make it so that normal visitors to the
gnu.org/encyclopedia site dont just thiink its dead or
non existent or something, which is the impression all
the rumors are giving, and we dont want to get rid of
potential contributors.   So we must just be able to
tell them to 'hang on' for the moment.

We'll need to do this together, probably a sort of
brainstorming session on the mailing list if that wont
get too confusing, so that it encompasses all our
opinions.

I think that the GNE is the best idea for a name ive
heard so far, it keeps a bit of humor, seems to
strengthen the link with GNU.   We also have the same
sort of relationship between being an 'encyclipedia'
but 'not', in the way that GNU is 'not' UNIX.

When it comes to moderation, again me and thom have
been putting our ideas together again, into a more
cohesive document (and at this rate its going to be a
LONG BOARING DETAILED document :)), which we should
have finished in the next few days, but we dont want
to put it up till its all finished so we know we get
the point across properly this time.   So just sit
tight :)
